Mountain Hares

Onto more of the habitat shots where these upland dwellers live, this was on the second day with not a cloud in the sky. There was a group of four or so, high up on the drifts so I just sat down in the snow and photographed them all on a long lens showing more of the landscape while they bumbled about their business. All too often the Hares are sat down so you never really realise how large their legs and feet are, the hind legs are the powerhouses for fast sprinting uphill and away from danger.
