Jacobite Steam Train

While up in Scotland it would have been rude not to check out the Jacobite steam train (aka Hogwarts Express) – we saw it a few times a day as it passed our holiday property. After checking the timetables and working out rough times for crossing the famous Glenfinnan viaduct, we made sure we were up the hill for the return leg from Mallaig, timed with some sunset colour. Once the train passed the heavens opened, so was a soggy walk back to the car
