Barnard’s Loop, Orion
Wanted to photograph this for well over a year now, but timing clear skies in the middle of winter doesn’t usually coincide in Pembrokeshire. Couple of hours spent outside in 1c last night on the coast. Shot on my Sky-Watcher star adventurer tracker with Canon 5D Mk4 and 24-70 lens. Around an hours worth of images combined to increase the information captured, then stacked together in DSS and processed in Photoshop. Also in there is the Flame and Horsehead nebula which I think I’ll have a go at next time with a longer lens. Nice way to finish off the Christmas break.
